Vatsalya Trust has started ‘Aakar- Early Intervention Center’ on 26th June 2005 for the children who are in age group of 0-12 years, and who are at the risk of developing handicapping conditions due to various factors like problems during delivery or pregnancy or due to any hereditary factor running in family.
The term Early Intervention means intervention or diagnosing at early age. Timing of this intervention becomes particularly important as the rate of human learning and development is faster in the preschool years.
The main aim of this Center is to provide facilities like special education, speech therapy, physiotherapy, and occupational therapy for all the needful children irrespective of their affordability at minimal cost.

- Mental Retardation

- Delayed Milestones
- Autism and other pervasive disorder (ADHD)
- Children with multiple disorder
- Cerebral Palsy
- Infants at high risk (prenatal asphyxia, premature babies)
